Basic Life Support (BLS) – Initial and Renewal
The Basic Life Support course is a requirement for all EMTs and covers adult, child, and infant CPR skills, two-rescuer CPR, use of a pocket mask and bag valve mask, and the use of the automated external defibrillator (AED). This course is appropriate for emergency professionals in all fields, as well as teachers, coaches, facility personnel, and even teenagers (babysitters) and anyone else requiring documented CPR credentials. This program includes both written and practical skills evaluations. A course completion card is issued upon successful completion of the course requirements.
